My name is Melody. I am the mom of Christina, then Redgate, now Muro. I'm disappointed that I never got to meet you. When we were planning the wedding her dad and I met with a very nice florist in Williamsburg. She attempted to make some subtle changes to Christina's vision. One being that Christina did not want a floral arrangement in the center of the church platform. She felt that that took away from the bride and groom being the focal point.The first florist thought the center arrangement needed to be there. She had a picture of the flowers she wanted on the side of the aisles. Some suggestions to change that were also made. I'm sure that would have been pretty, but maybe not completely Christina's vision. We then met Michelle of a Catered Affair. She seemed to love Christina's aqua and red vision. She said, "Elgin would have fun with this." The rest is history. The flowers at the wedding and reception took my breath away. When Christina was growing up we would attend weddings and she dreamed of having beautiful flowers at her wedding. When she entered the church and then reception at the Plantation her mouth dropped. How do I thank you for that? You brought our dream to a reality! Before the wedding I went to meet you but I saw you diligently working on a Grandmother's corsage. You are such a gifted artist. Special thanks to you and your staff for the lovely presentations at our only daughter's wedding. I would not change a thing. I hope one day to meet you and thank you in person. We will look back on this day for the rest of our lives and be grateful for the beautiful touches you added to it.
